Akiyuki Higashi

Akiyuki Higashi wurde 1992 in Japan geboren. Er machte seinen Abschluss am College für Musik in Tokyo, studierte Komposition unter Michio Kitazume, Tomiko Kojiba, Toshio Akaishi and Keiko Harada.

Im Jahr 2015 fand die Premiere seines Werkes “Soundscape of Machi TAWARA’s TANKA” für Kammermusik in Würzburg unter der Leitung von Robert HP Platz statt.

Im Jahr 2016 gewann er die zweiten Preis des “Japanese song competition of Sogakudo concert hall, composition department”.

Akiyuki Higashi nahm im Jahr 2015 am Projekt „CREATIVITY x EXPOSITORY” (Pajako Programm des DAAD) teil.
